Today I lost a companion that has been with me for nearly 8 years. Rousseau was hit by a car and passed away -- we think some time yesterday. Someone found his body across the street and called Animal Control. Jason went to ask what he was picking up and it turned out to be Rousseau. I'm really kind of in shock and denial right now but I wanted to at least let anyone who knew him know about it. We buried him at the end of the street, kind of overlooking the train tracks.
I'll miss him a lot and I know it's going to suck getting used to the idea of him being gone.
